Education we provide

The monastery is home to hundreds of monks from age group 7 to 30 plus & above; who are offered insights into the Buddhists philosophy and ethics through the unique Neydo teachings, all in the monastery premises.

The young monks are enrolled for regular courses based on the curriculum developed by the education system of the Nepal government; basically, from grade one to grade six. Once of age, they dive deeper into Buddhist philosophy and dedicate themselves in the teachings and learnings of Buddhism. If wished, the monks also get to enrol for curriculum based study, all the way to Bachelor & Masters in Buddhist Philosophy.

Monks go through self-study and guided study sessions with teachers, elder monks and lay peoples; who help the youngsters understand the actual meaning of the philosophical contents passed down through scriptures over generations, with real-world practises.
